History of Bergen County Alumnae Chapter of

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

The Bergen County Alumnae Chapter was chartered on April 10, 1976 by 28 visionary women, who shared a desire and need to service the Bergen County community. BCAC has a long history of providing service to the Bergen County. Through a variety of local initiatives, BCAC is committed to community development and cooperative cultural enrichment. Not only are we a sisterhood that supports our own, but we also actively honor the success of others. We are best known for our Annual Scholarship Fundraiser Luncheon. This fundraiser awards college scholarships to deserving Bergen County high school seniors.
